Who are we?
The Council of International Programs Chicago is a non-profit international educational exchange program, committed to promoting international understanding through professional development and cross-cultural exchange.
CIP Chicago is an affiliate of CIP USA, which was founded in 1957 to promote cross-cultural exchange between the U.S. and post war Germany.
Over the years CIP has brought nearly 10,000 international professionals from 147 countries to the United States for practical training.
Purpose
The CIP USA builds bridges of understanding between individuals, communities, and countries through professional development and cultural exchange programs.
For us in the CIP Chicago, we aim to carry on this purpose as we extend our hands to the Chicagoland area and beyond.
Mission
The CIP Chicago is committed to building cross-cultural relationships between international professionals and local partners.
Through our commitment for professional development with our training, partnerships, and programs, we prepare our international professionals for success.
Vision
Although we cannot help everyone, we believe each of us can help someone.
In a world with limited opportunities, we push our efforts further as it empowers us to continue making a real change.
Together, we are building a community committed to help others, one person at a time.
